Nuts are one of my favorite snacks! They are highly nutritious, contain antioxidants and may reduce inflammation. There are many types of nuts and normally I eat them plain and unsalted, but sometimes its good dress them up. This recipe for cinnamon maple pecans gives a hint of sweetness without the guilt. They are perfect for a snack or as an appetizer for a party.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup pecans
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Take a baking sheet and cover it with parchment paper. Distribute pecans evenly on the sheet. Add coconut sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup and salt onto pecans and mix thoroughly.
